About VERITY

Built on Truth. Created for Growth. Rooted in Community.

VERITY was created from a desire to see young people supported beyond the surface. Many children and teenagers are expected to behave well, make good choices, succeed in school, manage their emotions, prepare for the future, and understand who they are — often without being given enough practical tools to do so.

We believe young people need more than advice. They need safe spaces, honest conversations, consistent support, creative outlets, positive role models, and opportunities to practice life skills in real situations.

That is why VERITY exists.

Our work is centred on helping young people aged 6–18 grow in emotional maturity, confidence, independence, and self-awareness. We want to help them understand their feelings, make healthier decisions, build positive relationships, explore their talents, and develop the practical skills needed for everyday life.

Why “Quality of Truth”?

The name VERITY means truth.

For us, truth is not about judgment or shame. It is about clarity, honesty, growth, and learning to face life as it really is. We believe that when young people are supported to understand the truth about themselves, their choices, their emotions, their strengths, and their environment, they become better equipped to grow.

Truth helps young people ask important questions:

Who am I? What am I feeling? What choices am I making? What kind of future do I want to build? What support do I need to get there?

VERITY creates space for those questions to be explored with care, patience, and practical guidance.

Our Approach

We use a practical, relational, and community-based approach. This means we do not only teach young people what they should know; we help them practice what they are learning through mentoring, coaching, creative activities, group work, and physical activities, reflection, community engagement, and real-life skills.

Our programs are designed to be supportive, structured, and engaging. We aim to meet young people where they are, while encouraging them to grow into who they can become.

Our Vision

Our vision is to see young people become confident, emotionally aware, independent, thoughtful, and purpose-driven individuals who are able to contribute positively to their families, communities, and society.

We also want to strengthen the wider community by creating events, conversations, and opportunities that bring people together. We believe young people grow best when the community around them is connected, supportive, and willing to invest in their future.

Our Values

Truth — We encourage honesty, reflection, and self-awareness. Growth — We believe young people can learn, mature, and move forward. Support — We create safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. Community — We believe lasting change happens when people work together. Purpose — We help young people explore their talents, responsibilities, and future direction.

Moving Forward

VERITY is committed to building long-term support for young people and communities through youth programs, school holiday activities, community events, podcast conversations, and partnerships with local people and organisations.

Our aim is simple: to create truthful, safe, and practical spaces where young people can grow well.
