Where young people grow, communities connect, and real conversations begin
VERITY works through three main areas: youth programmes, community events, and podcast/media.
Each part of our work is designed to create safe, encouraging, and practical spaces where young people feel supported, families feel included, and communities feel connected. We want learning to feel real, creative, useful, and enjoyable — not just something spoken about, but something young people can experience and carry into everyday life.
At VERITY, young people are encouraged to ask questions, try new things, express themselves, understand their emotions, build confidence, and discover what they are capable of.
Our youth programmes support children and young people aged 6–18 through activities that help them grow in confidence, emotional maturity, independence, creativity, and practical life skills.
We create sessions that are interactive, supportive, and engaging. Young people are invited to take part, share ideas, reflect, move, create, laugh, learn, and grow.
Our sessions may include confidence-building activities, emotional regulation, creative projects, teamwork, movement, wellbeing, nutrition, life skills, work-readiness, mentoring, coaching, and group discussion.
Whether a young person is confident, shy, creative, sporty, thoughtful, unsure, full of ideas, or still discovering who they are, VERITY aims to create a space where they feel seen, supported, and encouraged.
We believe young people grow best when the community around them is strong, welcoming, and connected.
VERITY community events are created to bring people together — families, residents, young people, local businesses, churches, organisations, volunteers, and community groups.
These events are about more than activities. They are about connection, joy, local pride, and creating spaces where people can meet, support one another, and celebrate community life.
This year, VERITY is planning a Rowley Regis community event to bring local residents together through food, stalls, games, activities, and community connection. We want it to be a positive day where people can meet neighbours, support local sellers, enjoy family-friendly activities, and feel part of something good happening in the area.
Some conversations can change the way we see ourselves, our choices, and our future.
VERITY’s podcast and media work creates space for honest, thoughtful, and practical conversations about real life. Through interviews, stories, reflections, and discussions, we explore topics such as identity, emotional wellbeing, confidence, choices, family, community, purpose, creativity, youth work, education, and personal growth.
Our aim is to make people feel less alone, inspire honest reflection, and encourage healthier choices.
